Kia Motors America (KMA) today brought the sights and sounds of the race track to the opening day of the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. Just five years after the brand boldly announced its intention to enter professional motorsports in the U.S. at the 2009 SEMA Show, KMA marked its second title-winning season, celebrating the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge Manufacturers Championship. Kia’s “A Day at the Races” 2014 SEMA display commemorates Kia’s racing success and demonstrates the imprint motorsports has left on the brand’s DNA, encompassing both the thrill of high-speed competition as well as the fun and excitement that fans experience trackside.
Kia’s stylish all-new Soul range has been expanded with the arrival of two high specification models – the Soul ‘Mixx’ and ‘Maxx’ – which are now available in dealer showrooms. These models create an impressive presence on the road and are differentiated from the three launch models by their 18 inch alloy wheels, urban styling pack and LED daytime running lights.

With its long list of standard safety features and extensive use of high-strength steel, the Forte sedan rated 5 stars in the side-impact test and 4 stars in the frontal and rollover tests. For 2015, the Kia Sportage continues to offer an impressive feature set, robust performance and modern styling. Recently recognized for the second consecutive year as the top-ranked small CUV in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study (in a tie), the Sportage carries over from a year of updates, including notable exterior revisions and a variety of comfort and convenience enhancements. The Sportage is offered in three trim levels– LX, EX and SX– and offers two powertrains: a 2.4L GDI I4 (LX and EX) and a 2.0L Turbo GDI (SX).
The 2015 Kia Cadenza premium sedan continues to redefine the Kia brand with a number of enhancements designed to offer more luxury, technology and convenience for the new model year. Available in two trim levels, Premium and Limited, the Cadenza builds off the success it earned in 2014, when it was named the “International Car of the Year” by Road and Travel Magazine, by continuing to offer responsive and engaging driving dynamics and undeniable value wrapped in an eye-catching European-inspired design.
Completely redesigned for 2014, the iconic Soul now enters the 2015 model year with select enhancements focused on increasing the hot-selling urban utility vehicle’s fun factor. The signature Soul design is instantly recognizable yet thoroughly fresh. Honoring Soul owners’ fierce individualism, three unique trim levels remain available: Base, Plus and Exclaim.
The 2015 Soul displays its own unique character through a blend of funky personality, fun-to-drive characteristics and premium interior amenities intended to set it apart from the pack. A playful color palette, including Soul-exclusive colors such as Solar Yellow, Cloud White, Fathom Blue and Inferno Red pump up the dynamic equation that has made Soul such a dominate competitor in the “boxy” car segment.
Kia has just unveiled its 2014 Optima Hybrid mid-size sedan at the Chicago Auto Show. The eco-friendly vehicle is built upon its gas-powered sibling, but includes its own enhancements such as unique front and rear fascia, new wheel designs, grille and lighting elements.
The model will be offered in LX and EX trim levels. 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid features 47 HP electric traction motor, a strong Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG) and a powerful 47 kW lithium polymer battery. The combined gas-electric power is rated at 199 hp (146 kW) and combined 318 Nm (235 lb.-ft.) of torque remain. The resul is the following: LX trim level achieves an EPA estimated 36 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 38 mpg combined, while the EX delivers an EPA estimated 35/39/371 respecitvely.
Kia is introducing the new special edition VR7 range on its Picanto, Rio and cee’d models. The range offers new levels of standard equipment which will be the same for all mentioned models.
These include interior air conditioning, leather trimmed steering wheel and gearshift, Bluetooth Connectivity and USB and AUX ports. In terms of exterior, the Kias will get new alloy wheels, reversing sensors, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and electric front and rear windows. VR7 range will be available in four colous: white, black, silver and red.
