Toyota Camry 2015

Toyota Camry 2015 FrontSuccessive generations of Camry have achieved global renown in the mid-sized sedan market for their class-leading levels of Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR), for their performance and, most notably, for the excellent ride quality and cabin quietness befitting a premium sedan.

Launched in 2011, the current Camry is the 7th generation of the model and the second one to be built in Russia, where it enjoys a rising, 24% share of the busy D-segment market, and an even stronger fleet share of some 42%.

Underscored by Toyota’s legendary QDR, the 2014 Camry represents a carefully considered response to customer feedback. It builds on the strengths of the current model with new, more prestigious and dynamic exterior styling, and a significantly revised interior with a focus on high technology and improved sensory quality.

On board, the Camry’s premium class cabin has been upgraded with an expanded range of convenience and multimedia equipment, including partial and full windscreen de-icing systems, a new wireless mobile phone charging station, and upgraded Toyota Touch® 2 and Toyota Touch® 2 with Go Plus multimedia systems incorporating upgraded screen resolution and expanded functionalities.

Representing excellent value for money, a brand new 2.0 litre petrol engine with Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide (VVT-iW) and a 6-speed Multi-mode automatic transmission combines improved performance with a 13% reduction in fuel consumption over the outgoing 2.0 litre unit.

Driving dynamics have been enhanced through the adoption of a new preload front differential for improved standing start acceleration and high speed stability, and the fine-tuning of both the suspension and the Electric Power Steering (EPS) for greater ride comfort and steering feel.

An expanded range of the technically advanced active and passive safety features befitting a prestige sedan now includes new Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Auto High Beam (AHB) safety technology.

Finally, the 2014 Camry builds on the class-leading cabin quietness for which the model is already renowned with increased use of both sound damping and sound absorbing materials, making the interior quieter still to create an even more comfortable, luxurious cabin environment.
