Larte Design Mercedes-Benz GL Black Crystal

Larte Design, a German based tuning company has restyled completely the new Mercedes-Benz GL. The project is called Black Crystal due to the anthracite exterior color and shining new attributes. Precisely, the full-size SUV got attractive alloy wheels, an aggressive body kit and new exhaust system. The specialists also did an engine upgrade, thus giving the GL more power.

The front bumper was entirely redesigned and features some “crystalline” ornamentations. The blazon-shaped front guard stretches over the entire height of the car. In addition, two massive crystals as well as prongs, edges, boomerang-shaped elements, exposed carbon inserts and a number of air inlets further complement the front-end.

The striking LED daytime running lights were designed to add safety and tpo perfectly complement the front, while the big front and rear fender spacers, side skirts and rear door beads underscore car’s width. They also let the silhouette appear flatter and more dynamic.

What is more, Larte Design rear apron includes details like exposed carbon inserts, a central formula-1-type brake light and a special Remus four-pipe stainless steel exhaust system. The GL rides on forged dark XXL 11 x 22’’ alloy wheels with angular double spokes.

The diesel engine of this SUV was also modified. In its improvement, the tuners have worked in conjunction with the team at Wetterauer. As a result, the V6 diesel engine now produces out 290 hp (213 kW) and a torque of 690 Nm (510 lb-ft).
