Weber Sportcars F1 (FasterOne)

Weber Sportcars F1Swiss Precision Creates the World’s Fastest Street-Legal Four Wheel Drive Supersports Car

The Weber F1 is the world’s fastest and lightest street legal four wheel drive supersports car ever built by engineers coming from the former BMW and Sauber Petronas Formula 1 team. Its V10 engine produces over 1200HP whereas its empty weight is just over 1250kg. Thanks to its exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 0.96 hp per kilogram, intelligent all-wheel drive and sophisticated aerodynamic properties the mid-engine racer sprints to 300 km/h in just 16.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of more than 400 km/h. It reaches the sprint from 0-100 km/h in less the 2.5 seconds. It features a full carbon fiber chassis and a monocoque body.

The first prototype of the F1 was launched in 2007.

After intensive testing and developing over the last few years we would like to present to you the new F1. The first production car will be launched in April 2013.

The latest F1 has now a full carbon fibre moncoque chassis as well as new twin turbo engine producing over 1200 HP. Also the drive shaft (with now shorter gear ratios) – an inhouse development by Weber – has been improved for increased durability as well as drivability of the car.

Finally Richard Amiel from New York completly redesigned the car which gives it a more agile and aggressive look.

Weber has also produced several components for the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) which is used in Formula One (e.g. by BMW). This technology will also be used on the Weber F1 to launch the most powerfull Hybrid car ever built (in excess of 1600 HP). This will revolutionise the super sports car industry. For this phase Weber is still looking for investors.
