Winning the World Car of the Year title is the best promotion any automaker can probably wish for. Plenty of media coverage plus the title no other automaker can use.

The struggle will end on April 9 at the New York International auto show. In addition to WCOY the World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year awards shall be announced and presented there.
So it’s a tough call. What would You do in this kind of situation? Fortunately it is not for any car Czar to postulate. The vehicles are selected and voted on by a volunteer jury of close to 50 distinguished automotive journalists representing many of the world’s most renowned automotive outlets.
