The E92 comes as the successor of the still under the aegis of the controversial Chris Bangle designed BMW E46. The talk is about the 3 Series Coupe, produced from September 2006 till March 2012, so definitely more modern. 257.000 copies of the in Munich, Regensburg, Leipzig, Rosslyn (South Africa) and Rayong (Thailand) made midsize cars were shipped to the final consumers.
The firm Tuning Concepts from the in Schleswig Holstein situated Neumunster has taken such a BMW E92 and modified it with some almost entirely visual changes. First, there is the two-tone paint in red and black, which makes the 3 Series Coupe almost “automatically” faster. It is perfectly suited with both the fenders and the door-mirrors in a M3-look. And a tuned E92 of course has to go with a sports break system, which also applies here.
In addition to a coilover suspension by Bilstein the Crew from Tuning Concepts has attached special importance to the most decisive interface between car and road – the wheels. These were found – once again—at SCHMIDT Revolution (www.german-wheels.com) in Bad Segeberg. This is where the forged “concave” Gambit rims in the dimensions of 8,5×20 or 10×20 inch were made. The tiring is 235/30-20 and 265/25-20 . By the way, the wheel set is also available as a molded variant in 8.5 x 19 and 9.5 x 19 inches! This custom item has another special feature: the polished Undercut! In addition, the outermost rim flange is “burnished”. Incidentally, the Gambit rim is available in high gloss silver and the way it is shown here in Satin Black. The wheel manufacturer also gives the opportunity to make a powder coating as a special order on customer request, which will cost 98,00 euros per rim. Finally, an alternative weight optimization should be mentioned: min. 0.6 kg will cost 49.00 euros per wheel.
Just get in, start off and enjoy…
