In a recently held survey among more than 3000 people, the AA were voted ‘most trusted brand’ recently and currently hold the Which? award for No.1 recommended breakdown provider. This basically shows that breakdown cover for AA offers the best on-road help in the United Kingdom. Now, the organization is partnering with the Goodwood Festival of Speed. As usual, the event will take place in West Sussex, between 26 and 29 of June. This is where the AA members will have the chance to follow in the wheel tracks of motor racing stars like Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. All in all, this year’s festival promises an action-packed motorsport weekend, where visitors will see glamorous cars and famous drivers.
At the event, the AA will present the Moving Motor Show, which will let company’s members to drive the latest models from many of world’s top automotive brands. Moreover, at Goodwood AA will also showcase its developments and investments in its services. There will be a special event for those not old enough to drive. It stands under the name of AA driving school, which will offer free 30-minute driving experiences on the Goodwood circuit for youngsters between the age of 12 and 17. The AA presence will also include patrol outriders on the hill climb, a display of historical and modern patrol vehicles and event signage.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is included also as a part of the AA’s ‘Summer Saviours’ campaign. An interesting fact is that almost two thirds (62%) of AA members are planning to take a summer holiday this year. This will involve driving a car either in the UK or abroad. In order to support these drivers, the AA has organized this ‘Summer Saviours’ campaign. It aims to give drivers their best summer via series of special events, competitions and offers. In the campaign, the competitors will have the chance of winning one of three Volkswagen California campervans. What is more, there will be also a draw to win tickets to the horseracing at Glorious Goodwood if they spot a limited-edition ‘Flower Power’ AA van. Another benefit of the campaign is that it will let members have a free summer car check. For this purpose, AA has teamed up with National Tyres and Autocare to give members a free visual safety inspection by skilled technicians.
