Famous Parts Audi R8 Wide body: White Phoenix!

 In cooperation with the aerodynamic specialists of Prior-Design, the company Famous Parts of Ratingen close to Düsseldorf has developed this Audi R8 wide body at customer’s request. While Prior-Design supplied all parts of the coveted GT-850 body kit, the technicians of Famous Parts took care of the proper installation of all parts as well as the remaining conversion works.

 The brute GT-850 body kit of Prior-Design puts the sports car from Ingolstadt mightily on the expansion spot. It is now six centimetres broader on the front and eight centimetres broader in the rear than the serial version. On the bodywork, Famous Parts decided against the trend of the times and opted not to do complete wrapping but painted the Audi R8 in the limited serial colour “Pearl matt white“.

 The exclusive three-part Rotiform forged alloy wheels now roll in front in 10Jx20 inches with 255/30R20 and in the rear in extremely broad 13.5Jx20 inches with 345/25R20 Continental Sport contact tyres on the four ends of the R8 chassis frame with adaptive damper system “Magnetic Ride“, which was individually adapted by Famous Parts. To match the painting, the outer rims of the Rotiform wheels were wrapped in white.

 The driving unit of the Audi R8 was also optimised because Famous Parts installed a premium Capristo flap sports exhaust system here, made of stainless steel including remote control and four-fold sound selection. In addition to this, there was also a complex software optimisation and the company’s own modified air piping system.

Approximately three months have to be reserved for this complex conversion work. All built-in parts can be ordered directly from Famous Parts.
