These are the first official pictures of the Audi Metroproject Quattro concept.

This concept is likely to be the basis for the Audi A1. We can only hope that the great styling continues into a production version of the MINI Cooper fighter.

It looks like this concept is a hybrid based on the electric motor and battery pack visible through the trunk floor along with a charge indicator.

The engine in the concept is a 1.4 liter TFSI, but production engines are expected to range from 1.2 to 2.0 liters.

This car will be presented at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 24th
