The Spider Superflow is a one-off custom model that was made by Alfa Romeo specialist, Autodelta. The private owner of the previous generation Alfa Romeo Spider (Type 916) approached the British firm in order to create a unique version of the car, enhancing the performance and creating new styling. The Alfa Superflow made its debut at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham.
Autodelta started the conversion by upgrading the Spider’s V6 engine with the fitting of the current generation Rotrex supercharger conversion, which raises power from 240 to 341 Hp. Other mechanical changes include the addition of Autodelta’s bespoke Limited Slip Differential, a sport suspension and bigger brakes along with new OZ alloy-wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sport SP Maxx tyres. In terms of styling, well, let’s put it this way; the Superflow is indeed unique, but beautiful it is not.
