The custom made Ferrari F12 TRS is one-off. It was one of the 90 cars taking part in the third edition of the Ferrari Cavalcade, where it made a public debut on Sicilian soil. The car is based on the F12berlinetta and was developed at a client’s request. It is an extreme two-seater has no top and is inspired by the classical 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. F12 TRS has truly integrated design. It offers the same exceptional performance figures as the F12berlinetta including a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1s. What powers the car is the massive 740 cv 6262 cm3 V12 engine. The maximum torque is estimated at 690 Nm at 9,000 rpm. In fact, V12’s signature red cylinder heads are visible through a window in the engine lid.
Furthermore, the aerobridge, which was introduced on the F12berlinetta, has been given a new treatment in this car: a sculptural design that runs back from the flanks along the entire length of the car. From the leading edge of the typically sharp Ferrari nose, aggressively sculpted forms flow back over the bonnet. On the other hand the low wraparound windscreen forms a long dark band of glass in contrast to car’s body.
The Ferrari F12berlinetta has arrived! The first vehicles have just been delivered to their proud owners and already NOVITEC ROSSO, the world’s leading tuner for the powerhouses from Maranello, ignites the first tuning stage: The V12 Coupe receives a power upgrade to 561.5 kW / 763 hp, giving it a new top speed of more than 345 km/h. The car’s appearance and handling are further improved with NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs and high-tech forged wheels with diameters of up to 22 inches. Exclusive interior appointments round out the product line-up for the two-seater.
Performance optimization and an even sportier exhaust note at the push of a button. The first performance package for the 6.3-liter V12 of the F12berlinetta leaves the inner workings of the engine untouched. Newly calibrated mapping for injection and ignition boost peak power output from standard 545 kW / 740 hp to 561.5 kW / 763 hp at 8,500 rpm. Peak torque grows to 703 Nm at 6,300 rpm.
Ferrari are yet to officially confirm the final pricing for the new F12 Berlinetta, but reports have surfaced giving us our first indication. According to Autoedizione, the supercar will cost €274,000 before taxes are added and this could be as much as €369,589 with Ferrari’s optional HELE start-stop system.
The most important factor to note here though, it is cheaper than the 599 GTB Fiorano that it is replacing and will surely contribute to the multi-year waiting list most Ferrari customers have to deal with.
Here is a video of Ferrari F12berlinetta released by Marchettino via Youtube. The hyper car was presented at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show.
It is the most powerful Ferrari ever built – a 6.3 liter 65-degree naturally aspirated V12 engine with 740PS (544 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). 0-100 km/h – 3.1 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds and Vmax – over 340 km/h (211 mph).
