Isuzu UK announces production issue due to vehicle logo badges being produced with incorrect spelling, causing a potential problem for affected customers, especially for re-sale.
Isuzu UK regrets to announce that a small number of Isuzu pick-ups have been produced with incorrect Isuzu badges. The issue is believed to have affected a specific batch of Isuzu D-Max model production that have been delivered during the last 12 month period, with the chrome badges reading ‘IZUSU’ instead of ‘ISUZU’.
The badges in question are those located on the front of the pick-ups, displaying the distinct metallic Isuzu lettering. Isuzu UK assures its customers that this production issue does not affect the performance, capability or safety of the affected vehicles.
Customers who have purchased a pick-up within the last 12 months have been encouraged to check the grill badge of their vehicles as soon as possible. Then contact their nearest dealership if they discover a misspelt logo grille badge.
Isuzu UK remains committed to providing its customers with high-quality, reliable vehicles and excellent customer service. If any Isuzu pick-up owners have concerns or questions regarding their vehicle, they are encouraged to contact their local Isuzu dealer for assistance.
Neil Scott, Isuzu UK’s National Sales Manager said: “We take quality control and customer satisfaction very seriously, and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. The company has taken immediate steps to address the issue and ensure that it does not happen again.”
