The company MB Individual Cars from Augsburg, Germany, has developed a voluminous spoiler packet of ultralight but nevertheless highly strong real carbon for the „face lifted“ BMW Z4 (E89) for the season of springtime 2013, that the Augsburg company will bring out in the beginning of the year 2014 in a limited to 25 units quantity, with MOT certificate, of course.
That’s why for aims of presentation MB Individual Cars will present a Z4 BMW (E89) 35is in mineral white, on which in derogation from the basic vehicle the front spoiler lip, the kidneys and the air inlets will be mounted in noble carbon fiber material, also the rear mirrors in the middle of the car, and the direction indicators and the swords of the side sills and, finally, the rear spoiler lip, the rear diffusor insertion and – in order to round up the side view – small swords for the lateral parts of the rear apron. (the consisting of front spoiler lip, rear spoiler and side sill swords carbon set will demand about 3,999 Euro)
Concerning the wheel-tire-combination, the decision of MB Individual Cars was made for the type V703 VRM wheels in 19 inches with Continental tires. The front and rear wheel spacing comes from H&R. The installed variant 1 KW coilovers (+ deactivation of the original electric damper regulation) allows a discreet lowering and, in the same time, an optimal and safe, but nevertheless comfortable handling of the car.
At least, there are thinkable 90 mm carbon end pipes of the exhaust system and a F30 performance brake on the front axle. Thinkable is still much more.
An eventual power enhancement by means of MB own software starting from next year and even the individual fabrication of an exhaust system beginning from the turbo is not finally decided yet.
In the car interior, by the way, all inner mouldings including the center console are made in carbon. The gear switch knob and the coverings of the rollover bars likewise. Driver and co-driver take place, of course, in BMW performance seats. Last, but not least there must be mentioned that every kind of car modification is registered in the car documents – for MB Individual Cars a matter of course!
