Nissan declared itself ready to take on the world’s best sports car manufacturers after revealing a glimpse of its Le Mans challenger – the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo – during the commercial break for Super Bowl XLIX.
2014′s Super Bowl was the most watched television program in U.S. television history with over 110 million viewers. The 2015 game was therefore the perfect opportunity for Nissan’s “With Dad” commercial to air for the first time, revealing the much-anticipated Nissan GT-R LM Nismo, the car that will take on the best in the world in the race to glory at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The time has finally come for Nissan to unleash its sportiest Juke ever – the Juke NISMO RS. Prices start from £21,995 OTR and the arrival of the new car in UK showrooms marks the eighth new Nissan model to be introduced in 2014.
With more performance, a sharper chassis set-up, more powerful brakes and extra equipment, the new RS is an even more extreme and focused version of Nissan’s multi-award-winning compact crossover.
Nissan is returning to the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas from November 4 to 7.
Featuring a special “NISMO Lounge,” the Nissan booth will place special emphasis on NISMO-branded production vehicles, performance parts and aftermarket accessories. On display will be the new 600-horsepower 2015 GT-R NISMO factory supercar and a Nissan 370Z NISMO safety vehicle, fresh off its official duties in the recent Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSCC) race in Austin, Texas.
Passion, excitement and race-inspired maverick engineering are three core values that underpin every NISMO product – whether it be on the track or in the showroom. Nissan’s desire to bring the NISMO philosophy to the broadest possible audience takes another step forward at the 2014 Paris Motor Show with the global unveiling of the new Pulsar NISMO Concept. Shown in public for the first time, the dramatic design study explores the styling and engineering possibilities of a sporting flagship for the Pulsar range.
Nissan has strengthened its NISMO road car range with the release of a comprehensively updated 370Z NISMO. Following hot in the wheel-tracks of the flagship GT-R NISMO, the new 370Z incorporates a host of design and engineering improvements and is the sportiest and most focused 370Z to date.
In keeping with all Nissan NISMO models, the new 370Z NISMO encapsulates the essence of performance motoring, placing the driver at the heart of the action. Harnessing 30 years of NISMO spirit and engineering knowledge, the new 370Z NISMO has been extensively reworked to deliver a sharper and more engaging driving experience.
2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo made an official world debut at the ZDAYZ this weekend. The improved model includes exterior, interior and performance updates and a new 370Z NISMO Tech grade. The new model joins the recently introduced GT-R NISMO and JUKE NISMO RS. What is the most striking change for the 2015 model year is the vehicle’s revised exterior design. Its GT-R-inspired functional and fully integrated aerodynamic body pieces have been redesigned in order to provide an aggressive and more aerodynamic appearance. They also optimize front and rear downforce.
In addition, other key changes include deep front fascia with LED Hyper Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, NISMO emblem and signature NISMO red stripe accent on the integrated front chin spoiler. The red accent can also be seen on the redesigned side sills, on the black-color sideview mirrors and across the lower portion of the redesigned rear fascia.
Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept is the next addition to brand’s NISMO line of factory performance models. The concept car has been built on the latest generation Nissan Sentra. The latter offers excellent balance of premium style, innovative technology and fuel-efficient performance. The concept of course sports increased performance and design tuner elements.
The concept also includes many features such as race-inspired exterior with enhanced aerodynamic performance, NISMO-tuned suspension, steering and transmission and engaging motorsports-style cockpit.
Having gained an enviable reputation as the refinement specialist of 350Z/370Z sports car in the Nissan Community since several years, the team of Senner Tuning from Ingelheim centered around Benno Senner discovered for itself, the Style SUV with the appropriate name “Juke” within the current year. The tuner was impressed particularly by the Nismo variation of the Juke that had already been re-sharpened by the Nissan Motor Sports department.
