Anything but cute and definitely not slow – the brand new Opel ADAM ROCKS S will celebrate its world premiere at the International Amsterdam Motorshow (AutoRAI, April 17 to 26). With its sturdy, masculine appearance, the Swing Top canvas roof and powerful 1.4-liter turbo ECOTEC engine the 3.75 meters long ADAM ROCKS S will appeal to customers who want to combine dynamic driving outside of the city with thirst for adventure, open air feeling and stylish design.
Vauxhall’s top-of-the-range ADAM GRAND SLAM will make its UK debut at Autosport International 2015 (Thursday 8th – Sunday 11th January) at the NEC, Birmingham.
Previewed at last year’s Geneva and Frankfurt Motor Shows, the ADAM GRAND SLAM features slick design and a spirited 1.4-litre turbo (150PS) powertrain. It also gets a specially-tuned chassis and a VXR braking system.
Opel presents four world premieres at this year’s Geneva Motor Show (public visitor days March 7 – 17, 2013). The new mid-size class Cascada convertible, the urban crossover concept ADAM ROCKS, the rallye concept ADAM R2 and the Zafira Tourer 1.6 CDTI will all be revealed at the Opel press conference on March 5 at 9:00 a.m. in Geneva Palexpo, Hall 2, Stand 2231.
Opel returned to motorsport with the ADAM Cup in November 2012. At the Geneva Motor Show the brand now presents another star in the firmament: a new concept study of the recently introduced ADAM lifestyle car, built based on FIA R2 regulations. Its final development and homologation are planned during 2013. With the ADAM R2, Opel takes another step in its new motorsport strategy by offering a top-class vehicle for international customer rallying which will be eligible for every national championship in Europe.
