Maserati wants to bring Alfa Romeo 8C to United States

Of the 500 being built, with 70 already sold out in Japan, Maserati is hoping to bring back the Alfa Romeo brand back to the US market with the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. At the 2007 New York Auto Show, Jim Selwa, head of Maserati in the US, told TheCarConnection that the company will bring the 450 horsepower, $200,000 car to the United States.

Feet first for the 500

As part of the www.fiat500.com website, which is counting down to the new model’s official launch on 4 July, visitors were asked to submit ideas for stylish new decals. The winning design was created by European enthusiast Dirk Lipp­mann, and is called ‘Please Do Not Disturb’. It features footprints that appear to push out the side panels of the new model.Continue reading

Bertone presents the Barchetta concept car in celebration of its 95th anniversary. Based on the floorpan and mechanicals of the Fiat Panda 100 HP, the Bertone Barchetta is an open-topped strictly two-seater sports car that calls to mind the Italian racing cars of the 1950s.
