Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG Sport Edition

Mercedes-Benz has announced the introduction of a range of C-Class enhancements. This includes new model line, option packages featured in a brand new AMG Sport Edition. The latter replaces the current AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus model lines and will be applicable to all Saloon, Estate and Coupé variants. 

C-Class AMG Sport Edition will keep the AMG bodystyling, steering wheel, alloy wheels and 15 mm lower sports suspension. However, it will add AMG boot lid spoiler in the Saloon and Coupé variants, as well as dark-tinted headlamps and high-gloss black grille. 

The interior of the model will feature AMG Sport Plus seats upholstered in black Artico and Dinamica with blue/grey contrast stitching and split folding rear seats in the Saloon. Moreover, there will be also offered a dark brushed aluminium trim, the gear shift gaiter with grey contrast stitching and Dinamica-covered door panel trim. 

As an optional choice, the Sport Edition can be fitted with 18-inch seven-spoke AMG alloy wheels. In addition, there are also two optional packages: the Premium Package and the Premium Plus Package. The first one includes COMAND Online with Media Interface, reversing camera, heated front seats, Lighting Package and DAB digital radio. The Premium Plus Package builds on the Premium pack, but adds a panoramic glass sunroof. 

For the 2014 engine and line combinations for C-Class has now been reduced from 47 to just 19, consisting of two trims and four engines. AMG Sport Edition is available on C 220 CDI and C 250 CDI engines for Saloon, Estate and Coupé models.
